Governance
The Global Middle is built on the principle that Africa and Europe must shape their shared future together. Its governance is designed to protect neutrality, transparency, and balanced leadership across continents.
Co leadership
The Global Middle is guided by African and European co chairs who share equal authority. This ensures that decisions reflect joint ownership rather than one sided influence.
Advisory council
An advisory council of city leaders, researchers, entrepreneurs, and civil society figures provides strategic guidance. Members are selected for their independence, expertise, and commitment to partnership.
Transparency and integrity
Funding sources, partnerships, and governance structures are published openly. Conflicts of interest are disclosed. No funder, government, or private actor can control the agenda of the Global Middle.
Neutrality
The Global Middle does not endorse political parties or candidates. It exists to support cooperation, law, and dignity across borders, not to serve partisan goals.
